Barclays Global Fans Survey Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Winners of the Barclays Global Fans Survey (BGFS) will be selected at random from all entries received by 10am on Friday 14th November 2008. Any winners aged 17 or under would need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The minimum age for entry is 12 years old.
2. The prize draw for a trip to the Barclays Asia Trophy is open only to UK and ROI residents aged 12 or over except agents or any other person(s) connected with the BGFS, including third party promotional partners. This will include two standard class flights from a London airport, three nights stay in a four star (or equivalent) hotel and two tickets to one or more matches during the time of stay. The location of the Barclays Asia Trophy 2009 is still to be confirmed by Barclays.
3. Prize draw for a trip to the UK to watch a Barclays Premier League team of your choice is open only to non UK and ROI residents aged 12 or over with a valid travel visa except agents or any other person(s) connected with the BGFS, including third party promotional partners. The winner may select a team of their choice to watch. Barclays will then offer a choice of home games for the winner to select one match from in the 2008/09 season. The winner will receive two tickets in the home supporters seats. The prize includes two standard class flights to the UK, and three nights stay in a four star (or equivalent) hotel and transfers to and from the designated match.
4. Entry limited to one per person. The winners are responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then Barclays reserves the right to redraw the prize.
5. Entry is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to charges depending on their own individual arrangements for internet access.
6. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. Barclays reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. Barclays reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published on www.barclayspremierleague.com.
7. Unless otherwise specified, the winners will be drawn at random from all completed survey entries received before the closing date. Winners will be notified within 28 days after the closing date via email. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner during this time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, Barclays reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the correct entries which were received before the closing date.
8. Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of Barclays or its employees, Barclays will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner’s enjoyment of the prize.
9. There is no cash or other alternative to the prizes stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
10. By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by Barclays.
11. Winners will be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize, including a valid travel visa for international winners.
12. Barclays reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the prize draw (including altering prizes) if, in our sole discretion, a prize draw is not capable of being conducted as specified. Barclays reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
13. Winners will need to make their own travel insurance arrangements to cover the prize trips.
14. Winners will receive details of their prize and travel via email.
